Norah, Paulina chart positives Well Norah has held off another big Rap release this week, I am really surprised that this album (feels like home) has been able to stay atop the charts, despite a little press and Tv that Norah did for it, she pretty much has played it Low key and let the album do its thing. Actually Norah is problem the most surprised at this attention that she gets, her Cd is currently in its 5th week at no.1, although i dont think it will hold off the Usher Cd from spenidng a week or two at number 1, Norahs CD shows once again you dont need MTV play every two minutes or Radio play. As for my next Chart item Paulina Rubio reaches Platnum certification in her 5th week, her chart topping album Pau-Latina has crossed the 200,000 mark in the USA and over a million worldwide and looks to top her last Latin CD which sold over 3 million worldwide, however this CD of Paulina's is the first to spend chart time on the Top 200, its the first time she has reached that chart with an all Spanish cd in her career which began in the late 80's. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |
