Janatics help me out dammit!

In "Trust A Try" when she's singing "Don't smother me (with misery), Accusing me (of polygamy), If not the trust (then we have what), Gotta be strong (Oh keep holding on)," what is she saying in the melody she's singing in the backgound?

Anyone?

Actually, that's something everyone over at the Janet forum has been wondering for quite sometime. Everybody has different opinions on what she may be saying, but I really have no clue! Back after that album came out, even the Miss-Janet Fanclub wrote an article about it in their magazine, asking fans to come up with different possibilities!

So, nope. I don't know what she's sayin' at all!

Kinda like the infamous "Go Deep 3:57" lyric conundrum!

When in doubt, Janet's always singin' about me.

That adlibbed lyric is "Colin is my darli-in' / early in the morni-in'"

Nope. The best Janet forum used to be at her official site, but it's sucked for a year now. The closest thing to a good Janet forum is Janet-Xone, and I'm a member but I don't like the people there as much as I like the Org.

sigh I remember the good ol' FOJ days back in '98. Those were such chill times, everybody was geeked about the concerts, the videos and the remixes. No bickering, no haters: just love. I still have my FOJ membership card, the little Janet refrigerator magnet, that cool "Sankofa" choker, those little black-and-white guerrilla style fan 'zines, and my buttons that they gave me in that new member kit... LiKe WhOa! LOL.

I feel like a fan without a homeland. Too many haters and demons on Janet-Jackson.com (the sh*t only intensified after Nipplegate). Janet-Xone is semi-decent at best, but a lot of the kids on there are nitpicky and flighty, IMO. I would join the Velvet World forum (www.velvetworld.com) but they closed registration after Nipplegate wreaked havoc on all the Jan sites. sad

Unfortunately, Velvet World isn't better than Janet-Xone. It's a lot of the same people.

And I miss Friends of Janet, too! There were no other Janet clubs like it. I'm in Miss Janet now, but they really need a forum because not a lot of people go in the chat room.
