earnie isley took where jimi hendrix left?

i was listening earnie isley solos from isley brothers records.
jimi hendrix was teaching earnie isley guitar while jimi was in isley brothers band.
ernies solo are incredable,i often think he tooped his teacher.
im not talking about song structures(isley brothers songs were much more convetional than jimi's songs)
i'm talking about guitar playing.

I like the Isley Brothers, but Ernie is no Jimi.
Nothing personal but I have to vehemently disagree.

Name one solo Ernie did that compares to any of the following solos:
Hey Joe
The Wind Cries Mary
Love or Confusion
May this be Love
Are you Experienced
Up from the skies
Little Wing
Castles made of sand
Spanish Castle Magic
If 6 was 9
Voodoo Child
Voodoo Child (Slight return)
Burning of the midnight lamp
Rainy day, dream away & Still raining still dreaming
All along the watchtower
Machine Gun
Who Knows
Not to mention his tone poem version of "The Star Spangled Banner".

I could go on, and have purposely left out certain more popular tunes, but hopefully you see what i'm getting at here.
IMHO, Ernie doesn't have the creativity, the innovative ideas, the ear for sounds and tones that the master had.

I still dig the Isley Brothers though.

To the "banishedone", you obviously have not listened to much Hendrix, I take it that you are very young, and lacking music listening experience. While I must say that I was digging Ernie's solos for a while, it wasn't until I really listened to Hendrix, and begun trying to copy his style that I found out, not only that it is impossible to capture, but also just how unique Hendrix really was. Hendrix flowed with a spirit that can not be found today.
Those who came close were; 1-Randy Hanson, 2-Stevie Ray Vaughn, 3-16years old Eric Gales, and last but not least Eddie Hazel!
