Favorite Broadway Tune I'm not a big fan of showtunes, but I really love "On My Own" from Les Miserables (the best musical ever!) and "I Know the Truth" from Aida. What about you guys?

My personal favorites are "One Hand, One Heart" from West Side Story, "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" and "I Am Changing" both from Dreamgirls and "Being Alive" from Company. Proud member of the Naked Orgers Club

'being alive' from company (Actually the whole musical 'company' is perfect...that and 'Assassins' are sondheim's most interesting works)....
stephen sondheim has written some of the most interesting, challenge and creative musicals of all time...it's just unfortunate that the broadway musical has changed from being an artistic endeavour to a strip of Disney-animated-features-turned-musicals, 70's/80's-cult-pop-star-music-turned-musicals, and revivals-of-revivals-of not very interesting in this day in age-musicals. that's my rant out of the way.
