I just saw Eric Johnson last night in Charlotte, NC. He's currently on a solo acoustic guitar/piano tour. If you're a fan & he comes to your area, you've got to check it out. He did a few instrumentals, a few with vocals & a few covers (The Beatles 'I Need You' was excellent, and you've got to hear his piano version of Hendrix 'The Wind Cries Mary').
All in all it was a very nice & classy show.

His playing is very subtle.

His tone is pristine, his playing articulate. Eric is one of those cats who can shred like a beast, or wow you with a simple chord or phrase.


He makes me sick!
