The opening to Hound Dog will always be the trumpet call to Rock And Roll's awakening. Sure, Big Mama does a badass version too - no disrespect, but Elvis put the flame to the torch, and, um, whatever deep meaningful metaphor I can cook up at 12 midnight on Sunday.
