The O'Jays have a really nice cut on The Fighting Temptations soundtrack, BTW...three to be exact (one feat. Angie Stone and the other feat. Beyonce).

Yep! That's him. He died of cancer over 20 years ago. When I was a kid my mom took me with her to see the O'Jays perform. I had an instant crush on him. I must've been 5!

Oh, and what I remembered most about seeing them perform was Powell's process. Guess that's what they called it back then. I mean, he didn't have an afro, but a slick 'do.

And speaking of hair, I'm glad that Walter Williams stopped wearing that toupee!
