I love him cuz he wrote one of my favorite songs "I Get Lifted".

Everytime I hear their name, I think of my mum. She loves that group. She kept saying how much she loves that "shake your booty" song. Short spanish mama bringin' on the funk. I wonder if I give her my cd of it if she'll 'bump' that in her car like she does Marvin Gaye and Al Green.

My favorite song by them is "Sound Your Funky Horn" (1974),an early single that is funkier than most of their latter hits.But I pretty much like everything they did in the 70s.
