Jacksons Greatest Hits CD (finally) March 9th.

Brand New "Jacksons" Album Due For Release
10/02/2004
March 9 will see the release of the single-disc set "The Essential Jacksons," drawing on the group's late-career tenure on Epic. The 14-track album boasts the top-10 Billboard Hot 100 hits "Enjoy Yourself," "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)" and "State of Shock" with Mick Jagger. Also included is a live version of Michael's solo hit "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" from the sibling group's 1981 U.S. tour.

2 bad that I already have a 16 track set of hits....but I may still buy it 4 the hell of it..the linear notes might be cool.

on mine i had..

Enjoy Yourself
Different Kinda Lady
Blame it On The Boogie
Shake Yur Body Down 2 The Ground
Lovely One
Can U Feel It
Heartbreak Hotel
Yur Ways
Everybody
Give It Up
Torture
State Of Shock
The Hurt
One More Chance
Body
Nothing That Compares 2 U
2300 Jackson St.

Sorry yall I am bored as a mu fuka!

Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Hmm. Good setlist. Pick this up as well and you're all set:

I just have one gripe - what is it with compilations that only feature 10-15 tracks? Record companies are losing sales right and left and they STILL don't fill the 80 minutes available on a disc when it comes to a hits collection? More tracks, more 12''ers and more rarities, please!

Not a bad compilation,but...

It's missing the song "Let Me Show You The Way To Go" (1976),which I love and let's hope that it includes the 12" extended version of "Shake Your Body Down To The Ground".

BRO915

This is good.....I assume that these tracks will be digitally remastered. Maybe they will reissue the individual albums w/ remastering as well in the future.

Good call. This would hold be back from purchasing this GH comp. It's one of my ALL TIME favorites! thumbs up! This, and "Forever Came Today." (Theirs is much more funkier than the Supremes' version.)

btw, I think "Soulsation" is a pretty definitive collection of their Motown stuff.

Yep. Plus they're missing Push Me Away. And why is most of the Triumph album on there? 6 out of 9 songs from one album? No Time Waits For No One?

Well that's not good. Thank goodness i've got Goin' Places!

Actually i'm not buying this, same as i didn't buy No.1's, i have all their Epic albums on vinyl and CD anyway. So don't see the point.
