Take me out is the best song i've heard so far this year.

But i haven't got the album yet (believe it came out on Monday, and it's had fantastic reviews - at least in the UK broadsheets, calling it the "first essential album of the year" and stuff).

Anybody got it and want to let me know what the scene is?

album comes out on monday, 15th. I´m going to buy it and I´m going to see the band in concert on march 11th. I like both singles, "Darts Of Pleasure" and "Take Me Out".

Take me out is good though. I'm all for hypes if they're worth it. wink

The transition in TMO from the bland "indie" opening to the funky riff & beat is superb.

Be quick for tickets:

They're true.

I saw them live at the Leeds Festival last August and they were great. At that point, I only had the single "Darts Of Pleasure" which is genius. "Take Me Out" is even better (the radio edit misses of the whole intro) and I like the album too.

The tour has caught the band by surprise with many of the UK dates having to be switched to larger venues. Check http://www.alive.co.uk gig news for more info.
