Anybody Hip To 'Esthero'?

This was a group comprised of a female vocalist, Esthero and Doc, who produced and wrote most of RES' album.

They released an album in '98 called 'Breath From Another'. If you've never heard this, you should pick it up. Quickly. Imagine a cross between Sade, Bjork and Massive Attack. That would most closely describe their sound.

Unfortunately they only stuck around for one album. But it was a worthwhile effort.

Yeah, I Really dug that album! thumbs up!

I had no idea they were involved with the Res project.

TOO bad 'Esthero'(the group) fell apart. Yeah, Trip-hop isn't thriving like it use too, though it has fused with a lot of the mainstream sounds being pumped through the airwaves.

They broke up a few years ago. I saw them live her in town at The Troubadour in support of their first album. Her and dude were a couple and you know when couples end, usually the group ends. She did a few one off's, like a song with the Black Eyed Peas (can't remember the title.)

I should have been more clear. Doc was the one who was involved with RES.
