OK Harle (LIL SIS) This one is for ya'!!! From the album 1989 album The Real Thing..this one definitely should have been released as a single. I think this is the best thing she has done. Everybody talks about "Angel"...but this song is sheer greatness. What I love about Angela that she always have those nice chord changes in her music.

Mercury Records(her record label at the time) missed out big time by not releasing this one as a single.

An amazing climax too on this song...

Brother 9/15

Actualy, I rememer her saying that she wanted to release it so much but Mercury thought its a very non-commercial move and in order to satisfy her, they released the similiar "Lay Yo Troubles Down".

Like I said, I think she took alot of notes from Sarah Vaughan's Brazillian jazz stuff(The 70's period). And she dueted with her friend since Steveland's Wanderland days Mr.Greg Phillinganes.

Damn, I miss this sista to my core *period* I think she was born in the wrong decade tho. Her voice got soo much passion and intensity to it, the organic stuff would've showcased her vocals betta than that heavy-synthsizered mess.

I also love the fact that she's a superb Chaka's listener YET she mixed it with her OWN thang.

LOL I remember reading that Quincy Jones regrets passing by her without offering to produce 4 her.
