With a bonus DVD, too (Target & Circuit City, I think).

I'm heading for the Best Buy first thing in the mornin' tomorrow, but for the new aural trainwreck from Courtney Love, "America's Sweetheart". She may be the anti-Kylie, but I love her for it.

Nah, I'd rather give my money to something I like - ugly, smacked-out, vulgar rock and roll.

No, never. I'm convinced she and Danni Minogue are the musical equivalents of the Hilton girls. There's no way I'm spending money on their CDs.

I bought the CD and it isn't bad. Not as good as "Fever". It certaintly isn't instantly catchy and it might take a while to get into. It really feels like she did a lot of the stuff Dannii did on "Neon Nights", which I wasn't that impressed with either. "Chocolate" is hot though. Who knew that Kylie could do soul (well, Euro soul) and make it work.

She can do it and get away with it. She actually does a good job. I mean this girl has been doing her thang.

It bugged me that I had to wait sooo long for the domestic version that I totally forgot when it was being released.. so thanks for the reminder guys! I love "Slow" and I think I saw one other video besides "Slow" from the same album and I enjoyed that song too!

Can't compare kylie to paris hilton.

That's like comparing Heinz baked beans to Tesco value.

Yes! nod That would be nice. Hopefully the album will do well enough, or have a couple hit singles to have her do a few appearances. In store signings or even small venues. horny

"Still Standing" is definitely a hot little number. This album is definitely a grower - you have to listen to it a few times to fully appreciate its groove.

It IS a grower...thought it was a bit bland the first few times I spun it and normally that would be the only chance an album would get with me but I gave it another chance and I'm definitely feeling it now. Her 'Bardot' look was pissing me off for some reason but I think the albums actually pretty strong.

"Chocolate" is hot as hell.

If love were liquid it would drown me
In a placeless place would find me
In a heart shape come around me and then
Melt me slowly down
If love were a human it would know me
In a lost space come and show me
Hold me and control me and then
Melt me slowly down
Like chocolate

Love that one and "Red Blooded Woman" even though both titles sounded terrible. Other than those and "Slow", I haven't really loved anything off the album but those 3 are enough.

Alright, alright. I must admit Kylie's descent into electroclash is hot. The grooves on the LP are cool and I enjoy the 80s synth flourishes. Love to hear this on wax. My favorite tracks are the slinky "Chocolate" with its incredibly seductive breakdown, "Loving Days," "After Dark" and "Obsession." Mantronik went to town with the beats on this LP.

Just some Kylie news... wink

It's not only the airwaves that are lapping up Kylie's new single 'Red Blooded Woman' - this week Kylie debuted at No.1 on the UK Upfront Club Chart with a red hot mix of the track courtesy of multi-talented DJ/Producer duo Andy Morris and Stuart Crichton a.k.a Narcotic Thrust.

Kylie's pole position new entry marks only the second time in the past 12 months that a there has been a No.1 debut on the Upfront Club Chart.

Stuart Crichton previously masterminded the killer splice of Kylie’s 'Can’t Get You Out Of My Head' with New Order's 'Blue Monday' for her 2002 Brit Awards performance and this new mix looks set to become another dancefloor monster. The Narcotic Thrust Mix of 'Red Blooded Woman' will feature on the forthcoming 12" single release on March 1st.

And it's not just in the UK where Kylie is filling the dancefloors - Stateside clubbers are not immune to the power of a Kylie beat either with 'Slow' continuing to rise up the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart to a new high of No.2!

They guy on "Sweet Music" sounds like Prince, it's pretty funny to hear it. That's a hot cut as well.

"That, boys and girls, is a different kind of sound."

How is the single "Slow" doing. I rememebr hearing that iit was the most added song to radio or something but I've never heard it on radio. I know that Kylie has been doing a lot of appearances but I've seen one yet. I hope the album does OK so that they will start releasing her albums her the same time they get released everywhere else. I think Americans might dig this one as it has more of an R&B feel that "Fever", which sold very well and was probably the biggest selling dance album in years.
