50 Cent shut down! Man, I thought he'd be walking away with all the awards this year but he really didn't win a damn thing! Good to see! I think he's gonna be going the way of Vanilla Ice soon. Punk's got no respect...trying to walk up onstage like that. He's lucky they let his ass in the door in the first place!
Course, if you think about it, rap didn't really get any representation at all tonight. 50 didn't win, Chingy or Ludacris wern't there, and Jay Z didn't really get anything. Big Boi rapped but it was in more of a funky context. (and before you all jump on it, I think calling "Speakerboxx/The Love Below" a "rap" album is a crime! It's SO much more!) | |

Know whats funny? During one of those "behind the scenes" rehearsal footage shots, they're discussing Janet's name on an empty seat, etc. They scan thru a few rows and I noticed only 50 Cent's had to have a picture above his name!
If a hoodlum like that was unidentified security would have put a 10th cap in his ugly ass mug! And that lame ass stunt, crashing Evanesence's award...at least Spike Jones and Jarvis Cocker made a splash in the past.  | |

I hate his skanky, misogynistic ass. I'm so glad that he didn't get to feel justified by a win. And it was so ghetto how he went up as if to say, 'ya'll know I was supposed to win but I ain't hatin'. *cough*bullshit*cough*
Admittedly some of his stuff SOUNDS good but after reading the lyrics to P I M P I am so disgusted by the fact that he gets to make money off that. That is the definition of sellout to me. It's like he is making money off selling crack to kids. Once a thug always a thug. You ain't 'legit' just cause you selling albums instead of nickle bags. You still a thug. Though Evanescence would'nt have been my choice...I did feel for Amy Lee when 50 walked up there and she said "Oh no..what did I do???" in a very apologectic tone as if she was expected to say 'I'm sorry your sorry female-hatin ass didnt win'...let them have there moment. I was personally going for Heather Headley. Just on her talent and voice alone. But I figured the Best New Artist Award would go to a bigger seller.
