Steve Perry (JOURNEY)

What's he up to these days? I could have sworn someone thanked him during the Golden GLobes...and I"m trying to remember who..."OH SHerrie!" Ha ha I used to love that video-woman in the white dress with red tights...

There was a behind the music on Journey.

From what I remember, Steve had a medical condition and couldn't tour anymore. Neil (the guitarist) had to go to court in order to tour with the rest of the band. They got another Steve (different last name, but sounds just like Perry) and came through town last summer.

Journey was a great band.

GOD i loved journey and I still do... Faithfully is my favorite track of them..

I think there are ill feelings with Steve Perry and the group.. I saw it on behind the story=Journey on VH1 a while back.. Apparenly nobody speaks to him anymore cause he said some stupid crap that he didn't feel like he ever fit in or had any say in the band.. who knows, but his voice is amazing!

BY THE WAY.. i love oh sherrie also.. great song!

One of the greatest voices I've ever heard!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I love Journey and Steve Perry and I think SP got treated like crap by being booted out from the band just because he was having some health problems. I don't know all the details of his condition but from what I recall, the band just didn't want to "deal with" his problems and kicked him out, hired a NEW guy named Steve who, besides having the same name, looks and sounds JUST LIKE Steve Perry.

Talk about rubbing salt in a wound.
