Was anyone here around at the time?

If not, how do you think this selections holds up now?

I got the album, but no...I was not around that time. But it's a best selection. My fave song from that album is "Not a second time" and "till there was you". The Beatles are the coolest band that is SO down-2-earth and they act like themselves and nobody else. I'm a fan, y'know.

Do you have the original US album? If you have it on CD, that's actually 'With The Beatles', the UK album. The tracklisting is different.

When the back catalogue was released on CD, they opted to only release the UK versions of each album, since those were the ones The Beatles worked on and personally approved.

If you have Meet The Beatles, though, that's great - and pretty valuable, I'm sure...
