BET Grown Folks Music-Great Old School R&B Videos Are there any old school fans that are watching or taping this 30 min show that airs on BET on Tuesday nights? They have been showing some good old school R&B videos on the program.
I saw one of my favorite 70's videos.. Heatwave's "The Groove Line" on there a few weeks ago. Then they came back and showed another Heatwave video the following week..."Mind Blowing Decisions". My only complaint is that the program is too short...It needs to be 6 hours like the 80's video show Night Tracks used to be...Yeah that would be OFF DA CHAINS... Brother 9/15

For old school R&B videos, I bust out my tapes of Video Vibrations that aired on BET in the mid 80s.

Of course I watch this. It's one of the few video old-school shows around. I try and tape the videos I like. I had an opportunity of seeing rare stuff like Heatwave, Morris Day & The Time, New Edition, Colonel Abrams, etc. I'm keeping an eye out for some classic Prince stuff, as well as his royal subjects. Maybe we'll see stuff like Mazarati or Jill Jones, or even The Family!
Another thing I like is that Grown Folks Music shows stuff that you probably won't see elsewhere, not even on (dare I say it) VH1 Classic. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
