I know You Don't Know My Name is played on video channels and radio all day and night, but I keep singing that shit to myself. I always watch the video. I know the song is a rip of Motown and 70's soul, but it is realll catchy---even that goofy piano run.

No wonder this is a hit. But I feel bad liking it so much. I don't want to like it.

And you notice, Mos Def is in every video now.

They filmed that video about 10 blocks from where I used to live. I've even dined at that place a few times. It's located in Harlem.

I love the song and the album is my favorite I've heard in YEARS. This album is in the wrong decade however, but someone needs to be making good 70's r & b again. If you haven't picked up the CD go get it TODAY. "Heartburn" is so fucking funky, they'll need to make a new Shaft movie just so this song can be in it. Best album I've heard in YEARS by anyone.
