I've just seen the footage on the news... at what point was he dancing on the car? I only saw him standing on top and waving to fans. As for him being late... well I also believe he's guilty as hell but in fairness, he had to wade through a sea of fanatic people so you can't really blame him for being 20 minutes late.

I sorta understand your point about the tardiness thing, but at the same time there's an old lecturing grandma inside of me that says "get your *ss up and leave the house earlier so you do not tick the court off by showing up late and therin showing disrespect". I've spent so many years working in production (for advertising, film, ect) where celebrities know it's practically a mortal sin to keep people waiting and they act accordingly. That's why I don't understand why Mike's "handlers" didn't have have him on time for COURT of all places...but, oh well...

I don't think he listens to anyone but the voices inside his head (let alone his handlers). That's why he's where he is today.

Must be hell working for this guy.

I was pleased to see him not cowering like a scared rabbit...
Maybe he knows he is innocent...i don't know, but the little boy
that he is accused of molesting just was so sick and frail.
Seems unlikely sex object to me.
So...how's everybody doing? smile

First, he looked like an idiot, as usual. Second, if this had happened 11 years ago when the first public allegations came out, or during the Thriller era, the national guard would have had to been called out cause the crowd would easily be five or ten thousand strong. That town must be thanking their lucky stars that Mike ain't the man he used to be.
Third, no doubt in my mind he's guilty. MJ doesn't want this thing to go to trial because of the evidence that will eventually become public. I bet he cops a plea, gets probation, does community service, registers as a sex offender and puts the final nail in the coffin of his career.
Best line of the day by the judge to Mark Geragos when MJ left the courtroom to pee pee or doo doo:
"Mr. Geragos, in the future, please control the liquid intake of your client". lol

I saw (what I think was) the whole footage of him getting up on his car and if you think that was MJ dancing obviously you haven't seen him dance cause he is spectacular!

I read that some fans were blasting his song DS in the parking lot so you can understand him getting pretty fired up, he did look like he wanted to dance but just managed to restrain himself. I hope if/when he's given his not guilty verdict that he leaves the court and does actually dance with joy on the roof for his supporters, after all, performing is what made him, now that really would be a spectacle of triumph!

PEACE!

Dancing after winning his trial would certainly be more appropriate, but even then, it may seem like "oh sheesh he is flaunting his power" if he is still deemed by the public to be guilty.

Is that an actual artist's rendering?? Why would Mike have to hold a microphone like that?

And why does his hair look like Miss Yvonne's?

i have seen various clips and, really, i haven't noticed him dancing. maybe cnn just cuts it earlier than everybody else. i saw him struggling to get on top of the car, stand, wave and blow some kisses to fans. either way, if you're not guilty why would you act guilty? michael is just being michael. its certainly no stranger than whitney houston singing "you make me feel like a natural woman" after picking up bobby from the police station...for beating her.

SensualMelody, While I think MJ has brought a lot of this on himself, I don't think the man should cower. At the same time, I don't think he should show up for his first hearing 20 minutes late and then preen in front of hundreds of fans afterwards. Don't make those who want to lock you up even more anxious to do so. Walking into the lion's den is one thing. Teasing the lions is another.

But I hope this is a part of his defense strategy. If he did that without his lawyers knowing he was going to do it, they would not be happy.

sexual predators often prey on children who are sick or weakened, either emotionally or physically. I think it'd because those children have a harder time fighting back. I'm not saying that MJ did this, I'm just saying that it does happen and it's not very unlikely at all.

Therapy

When this same accusation came to light 10 years ago, I was convinced he was guilty.

This time around, for a while I felt the same. Then I decided that it is better to have an open mind and that, actually, I really have no concrete knowledge of his guilty or innocent status. So I decided to feel a shred of compassion for him.

After his appearance in court, I just had a really bad feeling about what I had witnessed. It is the same bad feeling as when he was at the Brit awards and Bob Geldolf (why, Bob?! Was it money?) said that watching MJ dance is watching the feet of God move... and the video that MJ did where there is an enormous statue in it... of himself. There is something about the oddness of his behaviour, and by far the biggest inflated ego in the fame world, where I honestly believe he believes he is some kind of God. Knowing a touch about the territory of mental illness, I know that an ego as big as that, that depicts itself as a God, may have other dubious things lurking on the dodgey land. Who knows - he may think taking a young boy to bed means to him that he is 'healing' them in some way. If he believes he is God, it is a possibility.

So, his behaviour the other day was like that of when he quite obviously faked a marriage to Lisa Marie - there's a whiff of covering up going on for me. And inviting lots of fans to Neverland and dancing on a roof after appearing in court for serious charges, are NOT normal behaviour. Can anyone of the UK imagine anyone, star or not, doing that in here? I'm not US bashing - just trying to get across the fact of what he did. That to me, showed him to be more guilty.
