The Fun Boy 3's Our Lips Are Sealed

since we're in the 80's mode...I like the Gogo's version but this one is irresistible - the singer Terry Hall is the lyrics writer and was the leader of The Specials - it's not really ska, I think, rather a sort of "jungle pop"
Pay no mind to what they say
It doesn’t matter anyway
Hey hey hey
Our lips are sealed

It's not a cover, this song was written by Jane Wiedlin of the Gogo's & Terry Hall, there are 2 originals versions ( get this one on kazaa, trust me you will love it) - that said I pray that Sean Paul won't touch it

Right here. Forgive me for my lateness! lol

This song is cool and I have the Fun Boy 3 album that has this too. It's called "Waiting" and it was produced by my favorite Head, David Byrne.

This version is radically different from the sunny new wave/pop of The Go-Go's. The Fun Boys kinda picked up where Adam Ant left off. They had such a unique sound which was heavy in percussion. That was only because Lynval, the guitarist was the most talented of the group, while the others barely knew their stuff.
