I'm sure a lot of you guys will disagree, but Christina Aguilera was really robbed. Stripped is one of the best albums of the year.

Yeah, I know she was responsible for a lot of the writing, but it's still a great album, even the things that Linda didn't write. There isn't one song that I don't love on it, and I can't say that for a lot of albums.

You mean, she wasn't even nominated? That's crazy. I thought her album should be at least a shoe in for a nomination. For a pop album, it's downright powerful actually.

Co-sign. And sure Linda Perry needs some credit too, but Christina's the one that sang her ass off on these tracks.

I didn't hear Stripped, but "Beautiful" was a damn powerful pop record. I'm surprised, considering Christina won "Best New Artist" Grammy off of "Genie In A Bottle" alone.

She WAS nominated:

Beautiful - Song Of The Year (well, Linda Perry)
Beautiful - Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female
Can't Hold Us Down - Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals
Stripped - Best Pop Vocal Album

And, yes, Stripped should have gotten an album of the year nom. (not Justin). But Christina basically does nothing except sing, and her producers have said as much in interviews (Linda Perry and Rockwilder).

BTW, Linda Perry has a better, more powerful voice than Christina. It's a shame that she never took off after "What's Up?", but it's good to see she's getting her dues as songwriter and producer now.

Oh, really? Thanks, I only thought "Beautiful" was nominated for song of the year. I agree that Stripped was a much better album than Justified, too and deserved that nomination instead of JT. I think Linda Perry has an amazing, emotive voice, but I still prefer Christina's.

I had a low key Friday night, stayed home and watched Letterman. To my surprise, Christina was the main guest on the show, and gave an incredible performance of her song "Walk Away". After hearing her sing that song live, I have no doubt that she is the best singer in pop music today. I rarely get goosebumps from just someone's singing voice...

I just saw it too because my friends and I were having a stay-home-in-front-of-the-TV-with-ice-cream night, and loved it! I was so excited to hear her do "Walk Away", which very well may be my favorite song on the album. It was a great performance, but not as good as when I saw her live, and I was disappointed she cut out the whole 2nd verse. But it was incredible, and I love her voice.
