I'm fuckin tired of Sean Paul someone please puts a gun in his big mouth

I was tired of him the second he opened his mouth and unleashed his toilet-flush of a voice.
Does he sound like a bullfrog in heat when he's NOT singing? [This message was edited Thu Jan 15 13:43:29 PST 2004 by VoicesCarry]

I wouldn't go as far as putting a gun in his mouth,
but I definitely would not mind him getting a permanent case of laryngitis.. that repetitive, monotone, DRONING noise gets on my nerves like nothing else. I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS.. | |

As a member of the reggae and dancehall fraternity...I have to say that you people are clueless & we're proud that he's hit the mainstream without compromising the hardcore dancehall sound. Big up Sean Paul any whey him deh...

Well, he'd be pleasant if he had a voice that didn't grate on my nerves like that. His songs are reasonable enough.

I like "I'm Still in Love With You"
Though I must admit I'd like it even better if his voice wasn't audible ~KiKi

Sean Paul is a great dancehall act, i've been listening to his music since high school (I have no idead how he got a "best new artsst nomination since he has been around for years)
I gues if u don't listen to dancehall and dub then u won't like his style here's something, if u don't like it! don't listen

Oddly enough,I'm just NOW starting to like this guy...lol...when his song "Get Busy" came out last year,I wasn't impressed. But now, after hearing it a million times on the radio and in the clubs,I like it.I probably won't buy his CD or anything, but he's cool.

'Like Glue' is tha jam! It reminds me of my sailing-trip on the Bahamas, which is odd because that was at least two year before that song came out...
Beanie Man is better IMHO

And a homophobe. All Jamaican artists are homophobes, does that affect you? Who is listening? Don't tell me you understand what they are saying...

All his music sounds the same to me! The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom - Anais Nin

If you had to hear that crap at least five times a day, you'd find your "urge to kill, rising" as well. Shit, if he were any good I would be sick of him so there is almost no way to judge. He has been forced down our thoarts and we keep screaming no thanks but they just keep shoveling it in!

I never understand people bitching about Britney so much considering you barely hear here on the radio. Sean Paul is a once an hour thing. And all over all formats. I heard him on the country station the other day! Don't listen. Easy for you to say.

many Dancehall artists neva made it to mainstream Lt.stitchie Tiger jr.cat Cutty ranks Sister Nancy Shelly Thunder Mad Cobra ( only had one mainstream single) as sean maybe over saturating the market. it actually represents DanceHall Music rightly so,

I like that song, too. I like most of the songs that he does with other people where his voice is just a part of the whole. When his voice his the whole damn thing...well, that's another story. Beenie Man is much better. I can listen to him all day long and not get sick of it.
