I just caught the Black Eyed Peas performing on Saturday Nite Live...never seen them before.

Now I have to say that I am IN LOVE with Fergie. She is H-O-T-!

She has a great voice, a cool attitude, and a kick-ass body to go along with it! Move over Britney, the REAL blonde bombshell has arrived!

I've been following her career since she was like 8. I don't like how they try to make her look browner than she really is

Her name is Stacy Ferguson. She was a member of Kids INC, along with Rahsaan Patterson and Martika. She could sing then too. I grew up on that show from the first episode to the last. It went on for years. Jennifer Love Hewitt was on that show too. Stacy and another member of Kids Inc along with a third girl were in the group Wild Orchid. Maybe you remember the song "At Night I pray." She was much more pale and had really blonde hair. Almost platinum. There are fansites dedicated to Wild Orchid. You can see how she looked then

Rahsaan is second from the left and Stacy is the 4th. The other member of Wild Orchid (Renee) is on the end

I've never seen Kids Inc. I can't imagine Stacy is very old then.

she seems like trash. and her voice isn't that special. kind of nasal and affected whiny.

Her voice reminds me of Pink at times.

They're going for the money and it's working. I don't like the last 2 singles but they've been played all over the place and selling too. Bully for them. They're in town on Friday and I have no desire to see them whatsoever.

I like Fergie alot and I like her addition/contribution to the group.

Seems like BEPs have finally stopped trying to be preachers...which make the them MUCH more listenable to me.

I'm finding that they're one of those "underground"(and I use this term very loosely) whose fan sget pissed when they gain popularity. strangest thing I've ever seen.

I still have my Kids INC albums. I got it when I was 8 or 9. Some of their renditions of songs included: Ghost Busters, Against All Odds, and Drive by the Cars.

Actually it wasn't that bad. Martika and Rahsaan did most of the singing on it.

And I'm happy Rahsaan has left what used to be MCA (now Geffen). He needs better promotion. Both his albums are off the hook.
