hmmm

I'm very curious about the source of this info. It's always rumored that Madonna's about to tour. With no announcement of a new album, it seems very unlikely she'd tour a year after American Life flopped with no new material to support...Unless the box-set rumor comes to pass. Still, that seems like a weird thing to tour for...

and starting in June? That's not too far off to mount a Madonna tour. Unless she's not doing huge sets, and just concentrating on the music...

i doubt it. there is nothing on her official website. madonna is not prince, she doesn't keep her info private for last minute. she actually wants people to come and see her! LOL.

What a bunch of crap! If only it were true. Altough I was slightly dissapointed by The Drownded World Tour (it was a lot of hype but a good show) I would still buy tickets for this one.

I'm curious, what was your opinion of the DWT? Why were you slightly disappointed?

IMO it was so overblown and up it's own arse. the costumes were ridiculous and Madonna's attempts at playing guitar (though suprising) were laughable.

I thought it was a bold show.It consisted mostly of her newer, more experimental music (very few oldies). There were alot of high theatrics and special effects, but it was still a very "musical" show...Madonna playing guitar.Madonna singing an entire song in Spanish.Madonna singing "Gone" on a bare stage, with no dancers, props or visuals. The music didn't take a backseat to everything else that was going on.

I'm sorry but I think I would have rather heard the oldies and it was also very short and left me wanting more. She could have broken out a few more "Bedtime Stories" tracks (didn't she only do "Secret" and "Human Nature"?). I think this time if she tours (and it looks like that was a joke of a post), she'll do the greatest hits thing but make it very interesting. She says she doesn't want to do oldies but if her "Like A Prayer" preformance live for an MTV AL event proved anything, it's that she doesn't hate the old songs so much and that the people really want to hear them (notice I don't cite any of her LAV preformances!).

I agree with you.Im no fan of Madonna but I watched the HBO show and was pleasently suprised.I was expecting a dull run-thru of hits. The fact that I was unfamiliar with most of the music actually added to my enjoyment of the show.
