I remember when this just came out, it sounded so cool
I kept playing this over and over and over again until
the tape finally broke and I had to get the cd single.

Where they just a one hit wonder or did they release more
than just this one single?

And what's the story behind the band? Was there anyone
in it that went solo later on? Or did they just plunge
into obscurity?

If I remember correctly, their followup single "Walking Away" was pretty cool.

I saw Information Society in concert for free when I was in school at Edinboro University in Pennyslvania. Pretty cool show. Got to meet some of the band backstage in the men's lockerroom to help on a college newspaper entertainment review piece.

I even have a white towel that either the lead singer or the drummer used to wipe his sweat off of himself. The towel is in a box somewhere and has never been washed.

they had an equally big hit in the states after "Pure Energy (I Wanna Know)"..but I cant remember it..Where is davideye when you need him?
