I love what Andre does with it, but they could've done something else with the hook.

I think the song would've been better if Sleepy wasn't singing it.

It's the rappin that needs to go. The song has a nice late 80's feel to it Bringing Together Five Decades of R&B/Funk/Soul/Dance

the song is aiight. I think he should have put a verse and his own chorus in there instead though. Kinda a repeat of everything he has already said in the song. Seems more like an Outkast outtake instead. This should have been on Speakerboxx. Replacing the last track, or flip flop rock or sumthin... Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I 'preciate that, paisleypark4! I've been on the musicians thread a couple of times just to check it out, but don't really frequent it. I'm actually more into the way music sounds and the arrangement of instruments in a lot of songs as well as distinctive voices. That's why I praise musicians such as Prince, Raphael Saadiq and Van Hunt because they use live instruments on their tracks instead of a MOTIF or MPC. It's too many people out there now that sound alike and aren't bringing any actual SOUL into music. Even though their albums are like 2 and three years old, I still listen to people like D'Angelo and Tweet because their voices are (in the words of Jay-Z) "So mu'fuckin' soulful!" and modern R&B lacks that. That's not to take anything away from hot producers today like The Neptunes, but there should come a point in time where you want to actually feel a person's emotion and not just hear it.

You'd be surprised, but I'm am so painfully shy it's not even funny. That's why I would much rather be a "behind-the-scenes" type of person and write and arrange songs for people. Perhaps sing some background vocals, but I couldn't see myself doing a live show or anything...despite people who have heard me sing telling me that I sould truly persue it full-time. Have u ever heard mine? if u did what u think of em?
I'm gonna have to check it out. I think u have talent man. Ima b checkin out sum more of ur stuff. U r one of the rare few musican on here really that leans 2 more Hip Hop sounds like Drezone, and me.
I 'preciate that, man. I truly do. Stay down!

If you met me! I haven't been in the studio for some years now. Just been perfecting my craft at writing...in hopes that someone may need a song or 20!
