White Stripes - My mom just cracked me up :) MTV just played "7 Nation Army" by the white stripes and
when he sang "I'm goin' to Wichita..." My mom yelled from the kitchen "Well, good riddance! And get leaving will ya, you've been moaning about it all year long but you're still here aren't you, you nunce!?"

Moms are the best aren't they?
My mom does similar things. She'll do a call and response with the stereo. Something like, "I never meant to cause you any sorrow." Mhm. Yeah right. "I never meant to cause you any pain." Fuck you! "I only wanted one time to see you laughing..." Isn't that nice? And so on... | |

I saw these guys (The Difference) in chicago in '99 but, the drummer Foley had then was "Rizzy" (R.I.P) *Rizzy was buried a year later to the day* there was this concert called "the First Waltz" They had a huge super group onstage (two of everything) but, Foley & Rizzy walked out there... And, U could here a pin drop !! it was just acoustic guitar & 2 drums ( snare & floor tom...& a splash cymbal ) I think that's how it originally started. Dude's been doin' the 2pc. for years. but, now that he actually has a girl/woman on drums ? And, THAT's THE ONLY SIMILARITY w/ THE STRIPES !! I AM A BIG FAN !!
