i was pleasantly surprised, myself

when i heard tupac mention prince

in the movie, tupac also says he

relates 2 women because he was

raised by women and he is very

sensitive

interesting self revelation

i wonder if tupac thought prince

related well 2 women, also?

Tupac is my other favorite artist besides Prince. He was a huge Prince fan. I think thats why I like them so much.. there are many similarites between the two. Both have two sides the personality. Pac had the Thug image he portrayed, and the intelligent, spirtual political leader.

Prince has the sexaholic wild high heel wearing side, and the loving peace and b wild spiritual side.

And the common ground is they both love god and sex.. And some great music.

Pac sampled Prince a ton. Ive even got a unreleased track called THUGS GET LONELY TOO that sample If I Was Your Girlfriend.. Its great..

pac even wrote the same way Prince did with single letters
because he idolized him so much..

Janet mentions Tupac!

Don't understand
Why you insist
On ways of living such a dangerous life
Not afraid to die

Black cat nine lives
Short days long nights
Livin' on the edge
Not afraid to die
Heart beat real strong
But not for long
Better watch your step
Or you're gonna die

Black cat...
Livin on the...
Heart Beat...
Better watch your step...

Yeah, listen to "Keep ya head up" off his greatest hits cd. He talks about respecting the woman.

Janet wrote this song years before 'Pac became the "thug life" king. I doubt that she would have really known 'Pac in that light at the time the song was written.

But the song does seem to apply to 'Pac's life.

Lol, I know she didn't write it about him (1988 was waaay before his time). I just thought the lyrics were applicable.

I got some bootleg tupac cd and it's got a song called "Pac's Life" and it takes it's beat off prince's "Pop Life".

The hook goes something like:
This is Pac's life, everybody needs to chill
Pac's life, playa haters wanna see me killed...

Peace
Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

YES! He is alive! Tupac, Elvis and Jim Morrison frequently come visit me in the Black Lagoon. We drink, smoke and have late night jam sessions! You haven't lived until you've heard Tupac rapping over "hound Dog"!

Thank God Prince refused to give Pac clearance to release that. What a mistake that would have been!
