If you love Janet, I'd really suggest tracking these down if possible. They've been deleted from the market for almost 10 years now, but can still be found quite easily. They're really incredible remixes, and I hardly listen to Rhythm Nation anymore - just these. You can usually find them on eBay, but sometimes they can get pricey. I would just wait though, they periodically come up for sale and you can always get one (of eight) at least within your price range. Then collect 'til you have all 8 OrgNote me if you'd like more info.

Each one comes with a Japanese lyrics sheet (English + Japanese lyrics) and sometimes with the OBI strip.

Again, this goes to show just how well the Japanese market treats fans and artists alike.

they have to. this and album bonus tracks are common for japanese releases, because they need to sell the japanese versions to japanese customers, because imports there are generally cheaper than the version released in their home country. so they add tracks to albums and do elaborate remix e.p.'s to get them to buy domestic releases.

Mind you that Alicia Keys second album is pure shit. A complete rip-off of precious money. That murderer killed more than a few of my precious brain cells. I ended up stopping the album right in the middle of it and putting it away. What was wrong with it? Too much lovey-dovey slow crap for my tastes. However, I'll give it props for saying that it's a chilled and layed-back album for when you just want to sit, relax, and hear some slow "blues-like" music.
