TOP 5 DYLAN ALBUMS

Dylan can divide opinion like no other musician, so the differences should be interesting and spark debate.

Here's mine:

1. Blood on the Tracks

2. Infidels

3. The Basement Tapes

4. Blonde on Blonde

5. Highway 61 Revisited

off the top of my head, though... the most listened to ones are "blonde on blonde" "time out of mind" "bringing it all backhome" "highway 61 revisted" "the bootleg vol 1-3" "hard rain live" "infidels"...

ok... i'll have to stop now... that's a bit more than 5... lol...

He's right. I can't stand Dylan, and it's not for lack of trying.

Dylan is the greatest lyricist EVER! My top 5 are:

Blood on the Tracks
Blonde on Blonde
Highway 61 Revisted
Time out of Mind
Live 1966

Dylan sings with more passion than anyone I've ever heard. He may not be liked by all, but he is one of our greatest musicians!

true... there are very few people who are like "yeah, dylan's ok"... and he certainly isn't someone that you put on for just background music, because if you like him, you're hanging on every word and finding out something new each time... and if you hate him, then you can't ignore possibly ignore his singing voice... lol...

personally, i love dylan... absolutely love him... never was there ever a better lyricist... in my opinion, he is THE most important songwriter in the history of rock music... nod...

Infidels was the biggest surprise album for me. The track "Don't fall apart on me tonight" is one of my personal favourites and "License to kill" is another gem.

Whilst The Beatles, The Stones and Hendrix may have been the music, Dylan was definately the content!

I agree with you 100%. Dylan is the songwriter of the century. There isn't a person around that can touch my heart the way Dylan can and does.
