On December 16,Santana will release a remix album titled "Santana Ceremony: Remixes and Rarities".It's a compilation of remixes,single versions and outtakes from 'Supernatural' and 'Shaman'.This is a limited release of only 100,000 copies,which means it will soon become a collector's item for Santana fans.

A number of these tracks are previoulsy unreleased outtakes from last year's 'Shaman' project ("Manana","Truth Don Die") while a few others appeared only as B-sides ("Come To My World","Curacion").The track "Let Me Love You Tonight" appears on the import version of 'Shaman'.The version of "Victory Is Won" on this CD is different than the version that appears on 'Shaman'.

Do you know when the next album "Hymns" is supposed to come out? Will it be a return to the Santana of old, or another Santana w/guests album? Personally, I could do without another one of those.

Something tells me it wasn't his idea! Porbably Arista trying to remind people that the song they paid to get all over radio doesn't appear to be on the album in that verison (I believe the album has the guy from Nickelback, who is an older Creed singer sound alike, funny, huh?).

The instrumental CD 'Hymns' is due in 2004,probably around spring/early summer.There will be NO guest stars,it's just Carlos and a few bandmembers.

In 2004,Carlos will begin work on another pop album as well.This time,he wants guest artists like Aretha,Whitney and Tina Turner to appear on it.
