I'm baffled by your lack of appreciation for Tori, Clubkid. Looking at your taste in music we have LOTS in common. Why not trust our judgement? I understand if Tori's voice is annoying. I didn't like her until her 3rd cd came out.

no, seriously though, tori is a goddess. her style of writing (both music and lyrics) is incredibly her own. even when she covers another artist's material she somehow manages to make it her own. who the hell recognized 'do it again' by anything other than its title? and her live version of 'wrapped around your finger'...shoot, it took me almost the first verse before i even recognized it as a cover. the girl - no, the woman - has mad skills! not to mention she is sexy as hell (puh-lease, who plays a piano like that?)! she is kind to her fans and aware of their relevance in her life...unlike another little man we all like. look, one time it was rainy and cold in philadelphia and girl waited outside her bus until she spoke to everybody out there...and there were a lot of peeps! the girl does what she loves and doesn't compromise.

There are so many issues to address here... but in the interest of saving time...

I get why people like her music, but i personally can't stand it.. If someone posts an opinion about this or any other topic, why ya gotta get so defensive?! Here's the answer... you are a bunch of sycophants who project things about music and art that are clearly not there! It's quite sad.

Listening to music is an individual experience... Sometimes many people share the same feelings, but other times people don't... It's really no biggie, because what SHOULD matter is the way YOU feel about a particular song/artist/etc.

How many times have u played someone your favorite song, a song u could listen to endlessly, and the reaction u get is not what u hoped for... OPINIONS ARE LIKE ASSHOLES.. EVERYBODY'S GOT ONE...

I mean, if you don't like her, just leave it at that. We are discussing an artist that we love. Why do you feel the need to interupt with rudeness and non-sense?

the threads still exist, most likely they're at the bottom of the forum. and once again, enough with the frickin musical snobbery. note the header at the top of this forum. all of this "my music kicks your music's ass and rules all, so there!"-type stuff needs to cease. if you don't like a certain artist/song that's bein talked about, stay away from the thread and keep any and all snide commentary to yourself.
