Luther Vandross and this years Grammies I was just thinking of how LUTHER was nominated alot across the board this year, and obviously the artists with the most nominations usually perform, but obviously in Luthers case that will not be possible, even though he is recovering, the grammies are a month away. What do U think the grammies should do, should they have a "cheesey tribute" and have a bunch of artists sing his songs or duet for Dance with My father, I dont like that idea because that makes it seem like the man is dead. I think if the GRAMMIES want the song performed than it should be performed by Luthers close friend and co-writer ofthe song RICHARD MARX, the song is as much his as it is LUTHERS, richards father died a few years back and this is one of many Lyrical tributes RICHARD hs written for him. Grammies do the right thing, please...dont go cheesey on US. Yep...this is the "Right Here Waiting" Richard Marx. He's written alot of ballads in the last few years for Luther, N'SYNC, O-Town, and a few more. He's just signed with EMI-owned label Manhattan and will be releasing a new album in 2004. Every minute of last night is on my face today.... | |
