Old School rap joint of the day

I know y'all remember biz markie mostly 4 the famous song , you got what I need, but he had another hit that I think was much more funkier then his first single. Of course this was back then in rap music, when it was truly a art form and it was alright to sample a James Brown song and in this particular song, Biz Markie choose to sample James Brown papa don't take no mess. Not only was the song & the lyrics great, but the video was great also. Although the song had a serious subject, Biz markie said he choose to express it with humor, because he believe it would reach alot of people more then it would if he decided to take the issue seriously. He was a genusis for doing that, cuz nobody was doing rap in the same order that he did. That's why y'all gots to give biz markie some props. Every time I hear this song on the radio, it makes me wanna do the cabatch patch dance. Oh yeah I love this music video to, it's cracks me up lol.

Aw yeh. 'Vapors' was amazing. Not to mention his nod to Steve Miller in 'Nobody Beats the Biz'. All of you cats that have only heard 'Just a Friend' NEED to hear 'Nobody beats'. Funky second-wave old school at its finest. My other cut is T La Rock 'It's Yours'. Rick Rubin, Jazzy Jay, and T made it so good. I can see kids spinning on their heads when I hear it.
