Mariahs new album : Candyland?

According to rumors it's CANDYLAND!!!

"Mariah Carey has been busy writing songs for her new album while on her surprisingly successful Charmbracelet World Tour." When asked about the new material, Mariah was reluctant to give away many specifics, but did mention the following. "Ever since my dads passing I`ve been trying to kind of put together some missing pieces of my childhood...deal with the negative stuff, remember the positives. It`s been an ongoing healing process and I think it will tell a nice story through my music."

Charmbracelet did better than Glitter, but Mariah Carey and her fans are hoping for a big hit that will put her back at the top of the music world. Mariah thinks she has narrowed down an album title to what will most likely be the laughing stock of her critics. On the new album in question Mariah states, "Candyland was always one of my favorite games growing up. I remember playing it with my family, and I think the title has a symbollic meaning as well...with all of the different colors and so forth. It also represents like, my dreams of growing up and making something of myself."

Editor's Note: I do not believe this to be true. Mariah has never revealed such details about upcoming albums so far in advance, and I also do not believe that Mariah would name her album Candyland. - Justin

The "Candyland" article/rumor was fake
She is still writing the album and said she will take all 2004 to collect material and realease something at the end of the year or 2005 because she is shooting 2 movies and the James bond thing
and in January she starts her run in London in a musical for a few months (forgot the name but it was a part Marilyn Monroe played)
