The Greatest Music Bargain of All Time I believe I may have scored the greatest musical bargain of all time. Going through a box of records at a market, I came across a Michael Jackson 12" labeled "MJ Club Megamix", labeled NOT FOR SALE PROMOTION ONLY, that looked like 'twas from the HIStory era. The box said one dollar each, I approached the guy who waved me off and let me have it for free.
Listened to it once, did some research online and turns out the record was given only to London DJ's and is one of only 75 copies in the world. EBay, here I come! I believe this may be the greatest musical bargain in the history of the world. Can anyone beat it?

Michael Jackson, huh? FREE?? Yep, 13. Yes, free. And that wasn't a typo - SEVENTY FIVE copies in the world. ...ohhh, I see what you're saying. Well for your information I look and sound about 17, I'm way too mature for his taste and if he tries to touch me I'll kick him in the nuts. Gotta love the music though.

I'm glad to hear you separate the person from the artist.
If I had such an exclusive item, I wouldn't...couldn't put it on sale. You gonna put it on eBay?

Hi, I'm back. I don't know how much but you better state clearly the esclusiveness (...because of recent events, items like this will become harder and harder to find and prices will rocket high...Mix not available anywhere else...bla bla bla) and have a reserve price. I've got HTF CDs for $1.00 because the seller didn't put a reserve price and/or the title of the auction wasn't clear enough. Gotta go again. Cheers

I'll give you a fiver for it!

What a coincidence...sorta. I was just thinking that one of my greatest bargains was MJ's History. I got it at either BMGmusicservice.com or Columbiahouse.com's 'bargain' bin for about $1.99. (not including tax and shipping.)

The two-disc set? Wow. That's not bad at all. I think I paid about $US10 for that. I also once bought a two-cassette bootleg of the Dangerous tour for $1.00.
