BIG AUDIO DYNAMITE I was just thinking aout this band today. As you orgers may know, The Clash are my other all-time favorites. But I also enjoyed Mick Jones' legendary spin-off group, Big Audio Dynamite as well. They were very influential in Alternative/College rock back in the mid-late 80's and I think they're very underrated. They've managed to mix a sound of rock, dance, hip-hop, reggae, and damn near every conceivable subgenre of electronica and marry it to a cacophony of soundbites and samples that have inspired countless others to follow suit. Som eof my favorite tracks are "E=MC2", "Rush", "Rewind", "Just Play Music", "Other 99", "Tighten Up Vol. 88", "James Brown", "C'mon Every Beatbox", etc. So who else likes this group? NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

When I was about 6 years old watching alot of MuchMusic, I couldn't seem to get away from their "E=MC2" video!
I remember there was a later song with a great drum loop on it though.
