Blender magazine has a section called Dear Superstar, where they interview an artist with questions submitted by readers. November 2003 featured Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan, and his repsonse to one of the letters turned my stomach. "I'm a gay hip-hop fan. Do you think there will ever be an openly gay gangsta rapper? NIGHTSHADEZ83, CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Method Man: I don't think any gay dude is gangsta, period. How many gangsters you know, from Al Capone up to John Gotti, been gay? There are gay rappers. Caushun is one who's gaining popularity. I saw a clip of a performance by him on TV a few months back, and he was rippin' it, actually.

This is so funny cuz a few years back I was at the Gay and Lesbian Pride Festival in LA and there were these gansta rappers on a stage rapping about how they were gonna throw that skinny ass on the floor and fuck it.

and this is a known fact, I work in radio...and have attended many Method and Red shows and have seen the two interact quite like a couple and other ppl in the i ndustry knows the two are lovers and have an open relationship, because their famous rappers.. Meth mustve been sober on that interview, give him some drinks and weed and he'll have you on your knees or biting a pillow! | |
