Actually, her last album was released 10 years ago this month. Yeah, I guess you're right. The 13 thing was a stab in the dark. Still, its been WAAAYYY too long for one of my favorite artists! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9) | |

Agreed about BFP. Tori really became a truly great artist at that point (I'm not trying to dismiss her earlier stuff, tho') and for me it remains her best album. But I still hear a lot of Kate in it. I like Scarlet's Walk very much. It took a while but often great albums do. It's perhaps lacking in diversity for me to listen to too often. But it is a very nice album. Actually I hear more of an influence from the woman in my avatar than from Kate in Boys For Pele. I guess I have to breakdown things around here,READ the comment I made before my middle finger post. One would hope you or someone else who was posting in this thread would have had some kind of response, after I made the comment about the woman in my avatar,(her name is Laura Nyro, not that I would expect anybody here to know that)having probably more of an influence on Boys For Pele. Maybe something like "Well, who's the woman in your avatar?",or "I have heard of her,but I haven't listened to her stuff, yet." or something.
