"Vibrate" = masturbation? / Theme of "The Love Below"

Is Andre 3000's "Vibrate" about masturbation?

What makes me believe this is that he says...

"...Sometimes when it's late at night
And you have no one to talk to
Here's what you don', you go through that
Raggedy cell phone 'bout two or three times
Tracy ain't home, Tina ain't home
The Love Below start talkin' to ya..."

...but then he really solidifies this idea of mine when he says...

"...Play with your own score sheet,
become the MASTER of your own BATION,
and yes...God is watching you
but no need to be embarrassed
for the future is in YOUR HANDS
No... the future is in your HAND!
Play with your own score sheet..."

Then he says, vibrate HIGHER. Is he saying that masturbation is self-love and that it will lead us to a higher spiritual awakening?

But then again, there is a group of muslims called Five Percenters and they call black men Gods and females Earths. So when he says "we're f**king mother Earth to death" is he talking about how we're killing our black women through loose sex and that we should embrace self-love instead of the threat of disease and STDs through casual sex?

And is it me or does the backwards rhythm of the song sound like some guy just stroking his thing and repeatedly consummating? The beat has a rhythmic stroke like masturbation.

Personally, I think this whole album revolves around the phallus. The theme and even the title of the album are inspired by the things people do because of that Love Below. Every song is about the penis. Think about it. Even the interludes. The consequences of what people do with it, positively, negatively and everything else.

What did you come away with? (No pun intended.)

I like Rufus Wainwright's Vibrate just a little bit better.

I dig Dracula's Wedding and Happy Valentine's Day.

As 4 me, I always think you just really have to take the song 4 what it is, cuz there's no telling what it really could mean in the mind of Andre3000 lol... you know think you know, but you have no ideal, that's just the way I figure it...lol really the only message I get is the funk baby and that's the truth nod

Andre's a creative guy- I have a feeling that most of his masturbation references are metaphors for something grander in his mind. But then again, I have no idea.

My mind is very analytical, so laughed when I saw this in context with masturbation. LOL
