Kem's "Love Calls" There's a new Motown artist out named Kem. He's got this jazzy/r&b track called "Love Calls." It's pretty hot! Whenever I hear it, I imagine Prince singing this. (Okay, he might have to use his falsetto in places, and let out a scream or to to make it his own.) I can't help thinking that if Prince sang "Love Calls", he'd have a Top 10 hit. (No disrespect to Kem, of course.)

Wow, I thought I was the only one in love with this song!
I haven't heard the album, but the single is tight, simply for the fact that Kem magically transforms into Al Jarrou about half way through. Michael never stopped!

Love this song. Yeah, he does turn into Al Jarreau a bit during the song. Missed your post on this one, paisley. My bad. But I hear ya. Same thing's happened to me.

Yes, I was definitely thinking the same thing - I do love this song but I don't think it sounds like prince - actually it sounds like Tommy Davidson's impression of Al Jarreau! But, I do love the song! [This message was edited Mon Nov 10 7:45:02 PST 2003 by SweetKreme]

They bump this song sooo much in Chicago. I would kill if they would spin another track off the album cuz it's all good.
