Ray was around before James, and he plays better piano. But still... why compare these two? Sure, JB had much more of an impact on black music in the 70s... but that doesnt make Ray less of a King...
What about: Marvin Gaye? Solomon Burke? Donny Hathaway? Wilson Pickett? Eddie Floyd? Otis Redding? Joe Tex? Jackie Wilson? Arthur Conley? There is so many that are royal family...
