That's usually the case when it comes to an artist's single biggest selling album. If you were to find a thread like this on a Springsteen or Michael Jackson site, you probably wouldn't find most of their hardcore fans listing Born In The USA, or Thriller as their best '80s albums. The media saturation (mainly airplay) of an album can jade the most ardent fans while simultaneously making them forget what made said album special in the fist place. If it's pounded into your head enough for 20 years, there's a good chance you'll end up taking it for granted. Not specifically you, anybody. This post not for the wimp contingent. Who made you guys the Music Police? Because I want to file a report. You've each got great taste in music, but that doesn't give you license to act like snobs. Diversity is all well and good, but why should someone have a diverse list for the sole purpose of proving their hipness or music knowledge? No one has anything to prove to anyone on this site.
