The Pixies So I heard from a pretty unreliable source that The Pixies are coming out with a new album and will be touring.

I've heard rumors of this too. Mostly about the tour though. A new album would be tops!

Yeah, I've heard rumblings about this too but I have doubts as to whether or not it will materialize. From what I've heard, Kim Deal and Frank Black burned each others' bridges pretty hardcore and it's gonna be hard getting those two in the same room, let alone recording an album and touring.
I'm not so sure I'd wanna hear a reunion album from them anyway - I think they've all moved on to other sounds and other ideas - I think it would be half-hearted at best. But hey, bring it on anyway, I spose... | |

Can anyone tell me the song that is playing at the end of Fight Club (where the buildings are collapsing)?
Someone told me that it is the Pixies . . . the soundtrack is only the Dust Brothers, and doesn't include that closing-scene song. |

According to MTV news a world tour is supposed to start in April next year. No news since.I highly suspect these are just rumours.

This is old news. I've known about the possible tour for about a month and a half now. A new album would be a huge surprise though. MBV are also getting back together for some studio work. All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone. | |
