This is probably some of my all time favorite sets of songs by Ben Folds. Each written with style and a great humor (All you can eat). I think this cd deserves 4 out of 4 stars. The piano style is great, and I think he does all the instruments on this 5 song EP. This just came out today (sept 30th). I think the most noticable track is the devine comedy "songs of love".. The strings on the song remind me of the way The Beatles used to layer their songs with strings.. All 5 songs some of his best work, by far.

I still say that one of the best songs ever is, In Love by Ben Folds Five...

I heard that Ben Folds was touring with Tori Amos this last summer in the US. Is that true? Did anyone go...? What I wouldn't give to be there. (Okay, maybe a couple of things, but otherwise...)

has he gone back to rockin out yet? man, everything from Autobiograph of Rhinhold... on has been nothing but a bunch of "Brick" remakes with a couple good songs like "Army" and "Rockin the Suburbs" thrown in. I like his more upbeat stuff and I do not like the depressing stuff. Is this more upbeat?

Yes, I'm waiting by the mailbox to get this one. I love all of Folds' material. He said himself that Sunny 16 was probably the best record he has done.
