Skyy...

You know Skyy had a few songs in the '80s, but all I can remember, rite off is "Call Me"
But in '88/'89 they had a bomb balad out. Does anyone remember Skyy's work???

I remember the fall of 1981,going out and buying the 45 of "Call Me".Played that song constantly, that was da jam back in the day.I flipped the record over and played the B-side "When You Touch Me" and I thought "this should be a single too!".Apparently, alot of people agreed because it was eventually released as a single in it's own right.

1981 was Skyy's biggest year, but unfortunately they returned in 1982 with the silly, absurd, gimmicky song "Moving Violation" which, luckily, most people don't even remember...lol...but they were a constant presence on the R&B charts throughout the 80s.Here's a list of some of their best singles...

"First Time Around" (1979)
"High" (1980)
"Let's Celebrate" (1981)
"Call Me" (1981)
"When You Touch Me" (1981)
"Let Love Shine" (1983)
"Givin It To You (From The Left Side)" (1986)
"Start Of A Romance" (1989)
"Real Love" (1989)
