What do you guys think of the band "Spymob" on this CD? They were neighbors of mine for a few years. I had a rehearsal studio next to theirs. Nice guys and great pop hooks!

For me, it's a WASTE of talent. The have some of the best beats around today. However, the "strong language, sexual + violent content" is BORING and non original.

just shows how the pop indsustry Brainwashing machine has some of ya'll in its grasp and,with most of this incoherant so called rap shit, has the majority in its clutches,when will rap die?..

i used to be so proud of Hip-hop culture being from the bronx and being there when it was born and loving every ounce of Hip hop culture.but now?..it has taken a complete turn around right down the shitter.

Hip hop culture was never about Bling'n,guns,weed,and how many cats u killed. it was all about the music, the dj's Mc's Breakers,writers. this isnt the case anymore.now its all about showtimin' and shootin and bling.another quick tip. Most if not all rappers shouldnt make an attempt at singing either.Pharrel.Ja rule,Dmx if u gonna mc, then mc dont sing. in essence Hip hop became no longer true to itself but sold out and pussified the culture.

I only understood why I so dislike this annoyingly catchy record when I realized the name isn't an acronym. They call themselves N.E.R.D. because nerds is what they are--nerds at their worst. Sure they're clever, but they're also as shallow as Britney Spears, who I swear they're dumb enough to want to fuck, and all they know about the world is that they deserve to run it because they're clever. Ben Folds is Richard Rorty by comparison, and though I prefer their beats to Dre's beats, once again said beats fail to render the accompanying fantasies (and realities) of sexual domination palatable (or clever) (and I'm not so sure about sexual). The final blow is this American re-recording, which substitutes live instruments for the infernal machines of the U.K. version even though the studio is the only thing they've understood deeply in their short little lives. B-"

it's the #1 album out right now, they must be doing something right. i'd like to hear it myself since i know it's not going to be some gangsta/wanksta mess since they are skaters

I like the tracks "Good Girl" by Vanessa Marquez and "Rock N Roll" by Fam-lay. I was into "Frontin'" for a few hot seconds, but it played out quick. Thanks urban radio!
