MYA Well since everyone has been quoting album sales lately, MYA has just passed 512,000 sold, certified Gold and soon to be Platnum, I hate soundscan talk too but everyone seems to be doing it lately here. However this is impressive for MYA since her fist two CDS took much longer to go GOLD and her last CD took a year to go platnum. Sure MYA doesnt have BEYONCE press or sales or even ASHANTI but MYA easily has the BEST RB FEMALE cd so far of the group that has come out lately by far, in fact she is on my top 10 of 2003 so far.

And the funny thing is that just because of her Tv appearances and award show performances, she took that "bad choice" for a single into the Top 15 with No airplay, just on Single Sales and the weakest song on the CD pulled the CD past Gold, this CD is at least 3 or 4 more singles/videos deep so this CD will easily be her biggest seller. Well she isnt a great singer, but I wouldnt say awful, she at least never lypsynchs, and lately I have seen every female singer do it...Britney, Beyonce, Christina, and Mariah.
