i agree with you! you put it pefectly, a big part of lena's early career had to do with studio execs tryin to cast her as a latina or white woman in the same way the very underrated Freddi Washington was. Janet must have paid someone to get that part since she got stiffed over Dorthy Dandridge (thank God). I really can't think of who could play the part but they really could have found someone else They put white make-up on Halle Berry to play the lead role in Alex Haley's Queen. They can do the same for Janet | |

They can do the same for Janet  halle and janet are not the same color to begin with.. halle is extremely light when she doesn't have her tan on. i don't care how much makeup they put on Janet, it still doesn't fit the part....
