I'm quite bored of his recent music actually. I haven't really been into him since "Circus", which was probably the last "real" Kravitz album anyway.

Yes, and Circus might be my favorite as well. I also love the artwork for that one. Totally fits to the atmosphere of the album, IMO.

I can't say that I'm a fan of his.Everytime I hear a Lenny Kravitz song,it always sounds like something I heard before, from another artist or band. There's not much originality in anything Lenny does. And what the hell is he doing collaborating with the no-talent P.Diddy on the 'Bad Boys 2' soundtrack??

I love Lenny and I've been a fan since his very early days when he was known as Romeo Blue. I was very happy that he decided to use his real name. Lenny is a great musician and IMO he's quiet under-rated. He is not the greatest guitarist, but he sings and writes lyrics with great passion. Another thing that I really like about Lenny is the fact that he's NOT as asshole in a world where there are so many, assholes, thugs and downright talentless people making millions. Lenny seems like a real man with a good heart and that's part of the reason why I like him so much. I hope Lenny is around for many more years to come!

Anxiety

I was crazy about "Let Love Rule" when it came out, and became slightly less crazy about every release that followed up until now, when I really couldn't give a toss about what he's doing. I think that "Fly Away" song burnt me out on LK, considering it seemed to be the music for every other commercial on television for a while. I'd like to see him get his hands dirty and go through a less-commercial phase for a while - I feel like he has the talent and the appeal to be a long-termer, but he comes across as so shallow. And hey, I guess there's nothing wrong with making a lifetime career out of being shallow. And anyway, his music beats most of the Top 40 crap out there...though that ain't saying much either, heh...

I wish he would collaborate with Janet on her next CD since they are both on Virgin records. I think Lenny is a talented guy and I respect him for doing his thing.

i love lenny. i really like the last cd, "lenny" and i think he's underrated as a musician. i think that his down fall is that people see his image (his clothes, his looks, who he's with, etc) and don't think he capable of putting together something like "circus".

i find his music very 'safe'. he doesn't do too much for me, like another poster stated, many of his songs sound like something that could be made by other bands

Personally, I like him. I like any man who loves his mama like Lenny loved his mama.

I do enjoy much of his stuff. I thought 5 was slaw. I think that with the right producer and songwriter he could do some real damage. But I think he's a singer and performer first and foremost. Writing ain't really his strong suit.

I dig him. I hope he continues to succeed.

I'm with Anxiety and Marrk. His album's started from great and have gone gradually down to now where he's way below the zero line. I saw him live in Sydney in aorund '93 and was very disappointed. I just don't think he's such a great musician.

He's alright. But he weas all his influences on his sleeves. You can hear Prince, Hendrix, Sly, Zeppelin, Beatles, and Marley thru his music. I guess that's alright. Oh yeah, he's also a cool ladies man.
